Location: Chatswood
Contract: 12-Month Fixed Term
Salary: $140k – $160k + super
Start: Immediate

The Organisation

Our client is a values-driven healthcare provider dedicated to enhancing the wellbeing of older Australians. With ongoing sector reforms and significant internal transformation, they are seeking an experienced Change Manager to play a pivotal role in steering compliance, improving operations, and uplifting the standard of care for residents.

The Role

This position will see you lead change across a challenging, highly regulated environment with low change maturity. Working alongside clinical leaders, operational staff, and executives, you’ll design and deliver transformation initiatives that drive compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards while also elevating the resident and family experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver tailored change strategies suitable for environments with limited change capability.

  • Guide and implement behavioural change programs, operating model enhancements, and process improvements.

  • Ensure the organisation maintains readiness for external audits and embed a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Strengthen incident reporting frameworks, particularly in areas historically under-reported such as emotional or psychological harm.

  • Oversee workforce compliance including:

    • Valid police checks

    • Mandatory training completion

    • Monitoring minimum care minutes

    • Family engagement through AOVs (Assessment of Outcomes and Views)

  • Manage funding compliance and reporting to safeguard sustainability and service quality.

  • Ensure sensitive resident data is protected and handled in line with legislation and best practice.

  • Promote flexible care models that balance resident choice with regulatory obligations.

About You

  • Proven track record as a Change Manager within aged care, healthcare, or other regulated environments.

  • Strong knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and compliance requirements.

  • Expertise in organisational change, process redesign, and behavioural change initiatives.

  • Comfortable working in low change-maturity environments with practical, staff-focused solutions.

  • In-depth understanding of workforce compliance and risk management.

  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication, and facilitation skills.

  • Demonstrated integrity, discretion, and commitment to resident-centred care.

What’s on Offer

  • A rare opportunity to directly contribute to the reform of the aged care sector.

  • Work with a supportive, purpose-driven organisation that embraces innovation and compassion.

  • Be part of meaningful change that impacts residents, families, and staff alike.
