They are currently navigating sector reforms and internal transformation. They are seeking a seasoned Change Manager to lead key initiatives that ensure regulatory compliance, improve operational effectiveness, and elevate the quality of care for our residents.
Position Summary:
As Change Manager, you will lead complex change initiatives in a highly regulated and low change-maturity environment. You will work closely with clinical, operational, and executive teams to drive meaningful, sustainable transformation – ensuring both compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and improvements in the resident experience.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement change strategies tailored to low change maturity environments.
- Lead and support behavioural change initiatives, target operating model redesign, and process mapping to improve care delivery.
- Ensure the organisation remains audit-ready for the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission, embedding continuous improvement into the culture.
- Support robust incident reporting, with a focus on identifying and addressing previously under-reported issues such as emotional or mental abuse.
- Strengthen staffing compliance, including:
- Valid police checks
- Completion of all mandatory training
- Monitoring of minimum care minutes
- Regular AOVs (Assessment of Outcomes and Views) with resident’s families
- Manage funding risks, ensuring accurate reporting and sustainable service delivery aligned with current funding models.
- Oversee the secure handling of sensitive resident information in accordance with privacy laws and best practice standards.
- Facilitate a flexible care home operating model that supports resident choice and autonomy while maintaining compliance and consistency.
About You
- Proven experience as a Change Manager within aged care, health care, or other highly regulated sectors.
- Deep understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory expectations.
- Demonstrated experience in organisational change, behavioural change, and process redesign.
- Skilled in navigating environments with low change maturity and implementing practical, staff-friendly solutions.
- Strong knowledge of workforce compliance requirements and risk management in aged care settings.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and commitment to resident-centred care.
