This Federal Government agency works in close collaboration with business and the Australian Government to register and administer intellectual property rights and legislation, patents, trademarks, and plant breeder’s rights. With a vision to build prosperity through innovation, our client is working to build a world-class intellectual property systems that gives customers access to the services they need in order to innovate.

The Role

Join our client working to support their digital and ICT transformation by enabling the delivery and execution of initiatives in their new ICT strategy. The successful candidate will help foster shared understanding across teams by translating complex technical concepts into clear, accessible language.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Interpret strategic initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders to shape them into clear, actionable streams of work that support delivery outcomes.
  • Clarify business and technical needs by working closely with delivery teams to refine scope, surface dependencies and ensure initiatives are structured for successful execution.
  • Monitor and report on transformation progress, helping maintain alignment with strategic goals, delivery timelines and stakeholder expectations.
  • Support change planning and new ways of working through fit-for-purpose activities and engagement.

Skills and Experience:

  • Initiative analysis: Proven ability to interpret strategic initiatives and break them down into structured, actionable components that support delivery.
  • Delivery enablement: Experience tracking the execution of transformation initiatives.
  • Independent delivery: Demonstrated capacity to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes with minimal supervision. Able to navigate ambiguity and bring structure to loosely defined problems.
  • Experience in federal government: Familiarity with government processes, policies and governance forums.
  • Knowledge of ICT strategy development: Understanding of ICT strategic planning and its role in enabling organisational transformation.
