C4I Systems Engineer
Join a cutting-edge defence program as a C4I Systems Engineer, contributing to the future of integrated air and missile defence systems. This is a unique opportunity to support capability definition and risk mitigation activities across a high-priority, multi-tranche acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance on C4I systems to support the development and management of Capability Definition Documents (CDDs).
- Draft detailed technical reports and engineering artefacts to support decision-making and requirements validation.
- Participate in engineering workshops, technical reviews, and working groups with internal stakeholders and industry partners.
- Review industry-delivered artefacts and contribute to the development of key system baselines.
- Identify C4I risks and support their quantification and mitigation in collaboration with the program’s engineering manager.
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum three years’ experience in C4I within Defence acquisition or complex systems engineering environments.
- Proficiency with modern distributed network architectures.
- Strong communication skills-both verbal and written-with a keen ability to produce high-quality documentation.
- NV1 clearance or higher
- Must meet eligibility requirements related to ITAR/US Export Technology Controls.
