C# Software Engineer // Financial Services
Our client is seeking a C# Software Engineer to join their team. This is a chance to step into a high-impact engineering role within a critical part of Australia’s financial ecosystem. You’ll be working on systems that sit at the heart of market operations – helping ensure data flows reliably across platforms during a major technology transformation.
The team is focused on modernising how data is structured, integrated, and accessed. It’s a hands-on C# role with strong exposure to data and platform connectivity, ideal for someone who enjoys working across systems rather than staying siloed in a single application.
Responsibilities
- Building and enhancing applications in C# within a well-structured engineering environment
- Working with SQL to manage and manipulate data across multiple systems
- Supporting integration between on-prem platforms and cloud-based data environments
- Contributing to data migration and transformation initiatives
- Helping shape how data is structured, validated, and consumed
- Collaborating with engineers and tech leads on scalable, maintainable solutions
- Troubleshooting, testing, and continuously improving existing systems
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with C#
- Solid SQL skills and confidence working with data
- Experience working in structured or regulated environments such as banking, financial services
- Exposure to data-driven systems or integration work
- Understanding of how systems communicate and exchange data
- A proactive mindset and willingness to learn in a complex environment
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
