Role overview

Our client, a leading global consultancy, is seeking a Business Warehouse (BW) technical specialist to design, develop, and optimise BW solutions that support business decision making. You’ll partner closely with stakeholders across business and technology teams, so strong communication is essential alongside hands on delivery.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimise SAP BW solutions to support reporting and analytics needs

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable BW designs

  • Build and maintain data models, ETL processes, and reporting assets

  • Support performance tuning and continuous improvement across the BW environment

  • Produce clear documentation and provide proactive status updates to stakeholders

Required experience and skills

  • Business Warehouse (BW) experience is essential

  • Strong hands on SAP BW experience; BW 7.x, BW on HANA, and or BW4HANA

  • Solid understanding of data modelling concepts and ETL processes

  • Experience with BEx query design and front end reporting tools

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Confident communicator, able to work with business users and explain technical concepts clearly

  • Ability to work independently in a fully onsite environment

  • Strong documentation and stakeholder engagement skills
