Business Intelligence Analyst
Opportunity to work for this dynamic, fast growing Information and Document Management organisation as Business Intelligence Analyst.
Your brand-new role will see you provides data analytics, reports and dashboards that support business as usual requirements as well as on-going projects, special projects, and new initiatives.
Key accountabilities
- Engage with stakeholders across the business functions to support their data analysis and customised report requirements definitions, reports and dashboards development
- Gather and inspect data to deduce information, developing metrics to support and drive business decisions
- Generate customised reports and dashboards as well as maintain them.
- Maintenance of regular reporting requirements (weekly, monthly, and quarterly)
- Development of sales performance and KPI reports
- Support the annual budgeting process by building and maintaining a suite of customer planning tools
- Undertake performance and strategic analysis of key initiatives
- Maintain data integrity to enable the development of insightful reporting
- Design and development of reporting tools and dashboards. Normalise data from multiple tables to views and dashboards
Skills and experience
- Minimin 4+ years’ experience of analytical experience in a corporate environment
- Working knowledge of data mining tools (PowerBI). Report and dashboard development using Microsoft Power BI
- Previous data mining and extraction between systems and business apps using SQL
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (used of macros, pivot tables, vlookups)
- Excellent data analysis and in interpreting data
- Analytical and problem-solving skills and very detail oriented
- Exposure to MS Dynamics CRM, Microsoft Power Platform, and Salesforce CRM (Lightning)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills capable of engaging across different levels within the business.
- Experience working across multiple business functions and all levels of stakeholder (C Level, Directors, Heads, Team Leaders, Managers, Operations, etc) engagement with the ability to support in driving business decisions
- User support and enablement in understanding and utilising PowerBI reports and dashboards.
- Have worked in a fast-growing business environment, flexible to coordinate activities and priorities that are often subject to rapid changes
