The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join and drive commercial growth across NSW. You’ll be joining forces with an existing BDM in Sydney, working collaboratively to expand the client’s footprint across the region.

You’ll be responsible for both growing existing accounts and winning new business, focusing on high-value clients and underutilised opportunities in Sydney’s market. This role offers a balance of account management (60%) and outbound hunting (40%) and requires someone who is hands-on, proactive, and hungry to drive results.

This is a full-time role based either in the office or out on the road visiting clients (typically 4-5 days per week). A valid driver’s licence and vehicle are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive monthly revenue and commercial growth in the NSW region
  • Grow existing accounts while actively targeting new clients across diverse industries
  • Conduct outbound sales activity – including cold calls, client meetings, quote follow-ups, and re-engagement of lapsed customers
  • Deliver onsite client visits, run demos, and provide hands-on advice for camera/security installations
  • Follow up on high-value quotes and convert warm leads into long-term clients
  • Work closely with your Sydney counterpart to manage and grow the region
  • Report to the National Head of Sales and Marketing and collaborate with the broader sales team
  • Leverage CRM (HubSpot), structured sales processes, with full product training provided

What We’re Looking For:

  • A proven BDM with success in B2B sales, ideally in SaaS, technology, or hire/industrial sectors
  • Strong hunter mentality – comfortable with outbound prospecting and reactivating dormant accounts
  • Hands-on and proactive: someone who thrives in the field, not just account management
  • Experience working independently, with strong discipline and accountability
  • Comfortable with activity-based KPIs and structured CRM-driven sales
  • Valid driver’s licence and vehicle required
