Role Description:

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Continuity Manager to join a large enterprise on a short-term contract with a high likelihood of extension.

Working across business and technology teams, you’ll be responsible for developing and enhancing the organisation’s Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework, conducting Business Impact Assessments (BIAs), coordinating disaster recovery and crisis management activities, and ensuring the organisation is well prepared to respond to disruptive events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain enterprise-wide Business Continuity Plans and frameworks.
  • Conduct Business Impact Assessments (BIAs) and risk assessments.
  • Develop disaster recovery, crisis management and recovery strategies.
  • Coordinate business continuity testing, simulations and training.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to improve operational resilience.
  • Maintain BCM documentation, governance and compliance with industry standards.

Key Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Business Continuity, Operational Resilience or Disaster Recovery.
  • Strong experience conducting BIAs and risk assessments.
  • Knowledge of business continuity frameworks such as ISO 22301 or NIST.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications (CBCP, ISO 22301 or similar) highly regarded.
