Business Analyst-IDAM

Our client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst – Identity & Access Management (IDAM) to join a large, complex enterprise environment undertaking a significant identity transformation program. This is initial a 3-month contract with possibility to extent.

This role will play a critical part in the discovery, design, and implementation of an Identity Access Management (IAM) solution, ensuring alignment between business objectives, security requirements, and technical delivery.
As the IDAM Business Analyst, you will bridge business and technical teams to define, document, and support the implementation of IAM capabilities including Identity Governance, Access Management, and Privileged Access Management.

Key Responsibilities

Gather, document, and analyse business requirements for IAM solutions
Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions across business and technical teams
Develop functional specifications, use cases, and process flows
Define user provisioning, authentication, authorisation, and role-based access controls
Document integration points between identity platforms (e.g. Active Directory / Entra ID) and enterprise systems
Support testing, validation, and post-implementation activities
Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory standards
Identify risks and drive continuous improvement across identity processes

Requirements

Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst in complex enterprise environments
Proven experience working on Identity & Access Management (IAM / IDAM) programs
Strong understanding of IGA, Access Management (AM), and Privileged Access Management (PAM)
Experience with Active Directory and/or Microsoft Entra ID
Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills
Experience working in Agile delivery environments
Excellent documentation and communication capability
