Business Analyst - Cyber Project ISO 27001
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a high-profile program focused on cyber security governance and compliance. This role is critical in ensuring all training manuals, procedures, and cyber security systems are compliant with ISO/IEC 27001 standards.
Working closely with cyber security, risk, and operational stakeholders, you will translate security requirements into clear, practical documentation and training artefacts that support compliance and organisational cyber maturity.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyse existing training manuals, policies, and procedures against ISO/IEC 27001 requirements
- Capture and document business and security requirements to support compliance initiatives
- Collaborate with cyber security and IT teams to ensure systems and controls align with ISO 27001
- Identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities and support remediation activities
- Ensure training materials are accurate, current, and audit-ready
- Engage stakeholders across cyber, IT, risk, and business functions
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in cyber security, risk, or compliance environments
- Strong understanding of ISO/IEC 27001 and information security controls
- Experience reviewing and producing policies, procedures, and training documentation
- Ability to translate technical security requirements into clear business language
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and documentation skills
Contract Details
- Contract Duration: 12 months
- Daily Rate: $900 – $975 per day inc super
- Start Date: ASAP
- Location: Brisbane WFH flexibility
