Business Analyst – Digital Optimisation Program
We are partnering with a large enterprise organisation seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the delivery of key initiatives within a major Digital Optimisation Program.
This is a delivery-focused BA role suited to a professional who thrives in structured delivery environments where scope, direction, and solution approaches are clearly defined. You will play a critical role in eliciting, documenting, and validating business and functional requirements while supporting delivery teams throughout the implementation lifecycle.
Working closely with business stakeholders, project teams, developers, testers, and delivery leads, you will help ensure requirements are clear, aligned, and effectively translated into successful delivery outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Elicit, document, analyse, and validate business and functional requirements
- Translate business needs into clear and structured artefacts including:
- Business requirements
- User stories
- Process maps
- Acceptance criteria
- Produce detailed, high-quality BA documentation with minimal rework required
- Facilitate requirements workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions
- Map current-state and future-state business processes aligned to agreed delivery direction
- Support delivery teams through ongoing clarification of requirements, issue resolution, and stakeholder engagement
- Collaborate with developers, testers, architects, and project stakeholders across the full delivery lifecycle
- Support testing activities including requirements traceability, UAT preparation, and validation activities
- Ensure business requirements align with operational objectives, governance, and program outcomes
- Assist in identifying risks, dependencies, assumptions, and impacts relating to delivery activities
About You
You will bring proven experience as a Business Analyst supporting delivery within large-scale digital transformation or optimisation programs.
Required Experience
- Strong experience working within structured delivery environments with clearly defined scope and direction
- Demonstrated capability producing detailed, high-quality BA artefacts including requirements documentation, user stories, process maps, and acceptance criteria
- Experience facilitating workshops and engaging effectively with business and technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Experience supporting delivery teams throughout requirements, testing, and implementation phases
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail in fast-paced environments
- Experience working within agile, hybrid, or enterprise delivery environments
Desirable Experience
- Experience within government, regulated industries, registry, property, or legal services environments
- Exposure to workflow automation, digital transformation, or process optimisation initiatives
- Familiarity with process mapping and modelling tools such as Visio, BPMN, or similar
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale transformation programs
