Business Analyst

This large government body is seeking experienced Business Analysts to support the delivery of key transformation initiatives. This is a great opportunity to work on impactful projects within a complex, regulated environment.

You’ll collaborate with business and technology stakeholders, architecture, governance, and vendor teams to drive delivery outcomes aligned to a broader digital and data strategy. This role is critical in providing clarity, managing risks, and supporting future-state planning across evolving information management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Map end-to-end workflows across Payments teams and categorise work types
  • Analyse demand volumes across channels, cohorts, and services
  • Assess performance metrics including SLAs, turnaround times, queues, rework, and failure demand
  • Evaluate effort drivers such as touchpoints, handoffs, and interruptions
  • Analyse team capacity, including productive hours, role constraints, and system bottlenecks
  • Identify risks, interdependencies, and opportunities to improve delivery efficiency

Skills and experience

  • Solid experience as a Business or Systems Analyst in large project environments
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and processes
  • Proven stakeholder management experience across senior and cross-functional teams
  • Experience working on complex technology initiatives (public sector experience highly regarded)
