The Principal Business Analyst supports the testing phase and business readiness activities of a finance system transformation program. This role provides business analysis expertise across testing stakeholder engagement and change readiness. Working closely with business stakeholders vendors and technical teams you will help ensure successful testing outcomes and readiness for deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the testing phase of the finance program including preparation analysis and reporting of testing artefacts
  • Assist with development review and maintenance of test scripts scenarios and traceability to business requirements
  • Provide business analysis support during system integration and user acceptance testing
  • Validate future state business processes and end to end workflows during testing activities
  • Liaise with business stakeholders vendors and technical teams to resolve testing issues and clarify requirements
  • Identify testing and business readiness risks and contribute to mitigation strategies
  • Support change readiness activities including impact assessments readiness assessments and stakeholder engagement
  • Contribute to development of training communication and change materials to support adoption
  • Build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support program outcomes
  • Represent the program on testing business readiness and change related matters as required

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in business analysis reporting and finance system functionality
  • Experience in project accounting and project management environments
  • Highly developed written communication interpersonal presentation and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills with the ability to resolve complex problems
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and timelines
