Business Analyst
We’re seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a major transformation initiative within the government sector. This 6-month contract, based in Brisbane’s CBD with strong extension potential, offers the opportunity to support a large-scale infrastructure investment program through uplifted portfolio and financial management practices.

Key Focus Areas:
// Stakeholder Engagement & Requirements Gathering
// Business Process Modelling (BPMN)
// Agile & Waterfall Delivery Environments
// Portfolio & Financial Management Uplift
Responsibilities:
// Facilitate workshops and interviews to capture and document detailed business requirements
// Analyse current processes and identify opportunities for improvement
// Develop functional/non-functional specifications and comprehensive documentation
// Support business readiness, transition, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
// Prepare reports and briefings for senior leadership and executive stakeholders
Requirements:
// 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst across complex initiatives
// Skilled in BPMN and process improvement techniques
// Experience in Agile, Scrum, and traditional project delivery environments
// Proficient in stakeholder facilitation and the Microsoft Office suite
// Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
Highly Desirable:
// Experience in large government transformation programs
// Understanding of the BABOK framework
// Ability to support change initiatives in large, matrixed environments
