Business Analyst // Automation

Our client is seeking a Business Analyst to join a Risk team focused on automating and improving manual risk and control processes. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong business analysis capability with a passion for automation, data, and process optimisation.

You will work closely with Risk and Technology stakeholders to analyse current-state processes, identify automation opportunities, and deliver more efficient, scalable control solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Work within the Risk team to analyse business processes, controls, and risk frameworks

  • Assess current manual processes and identify opportunities for automation and improvement

  • Define business requirements for automated controls and risk solutions

  • Support the design and implementation of RPA and automation initiatives

  • Deliver automation using Python, SQL, and analytics tools

  • Develop insights and reporting using Power BI and other analytics platforms

  • Support risk and compliance activities aligned to the Uniform Compliance Framework (UCF)

  • Contribute to continuous improvement across Risk and Control functions

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within Risk, Compliance, or Control environments

  • Strong understanding of process automation and RPA concepts

  • Experience with Python and SQL for automation, data analysis, or reporting

  • Experience with ServiceNow (highly regarded)

  • Experience with Power BI and analytics tools

  • Exposure to Artifactory and Palantir (training provided if required)

  • Experience working with or supporting the Uniform Compliance Framework (UCF)

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and documentation skills
