Business Analyst - AI

We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst with a strong ability to operate in a business-facing role while working closely with technical and delivery teams. This position is ideally suited to someone with a background in financial services or banking, combined with experience delivering AI, data, or digital transformation initiatives within complex enterprise environments.
Experience within highly regulated industries such as banking or financial services will be highly regarded, particularly candidates who understand governance, risk, compliance, and large-scale enterprise operating models.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with senior business and technology stakeholders to understand operating models, business challenges, and transformation opportunities
- Elicit, analyse, and document business and technical requirements related to AI-driven initiatives and enterprise transformation programs
- Act as the key link between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating complex technical and AI concepts into clear business outcomes
- Collaborate closely with architects, AI engineers, data teams, and delivery leads to ensure solutions align with business objectives
- Support the implementation of new ways of working, including Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and product-led delivery models
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and process mapping sessions across multiple business units
- Develop As-Is and To-Be process models, identifying opportunities for optimisation and automation
- Support change management activities including impact assessments, stakeholder communications, and adoption planning
- Contribute to roadmap planning, prioritisation, governance, and benefits realisation activities
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst within large and complex enterprise environments
- Strong background within financial services or banking is highly preferred
- Experience working within regulated environments, with an understanding of governance, compliance, risk, and enterprise delivery frameworks
- Demonstrated experience delivering AI, data, advanced analytics, or digital transformation initiatives
- Strong ability to engage and influence senior business stakeholders while partnering effectively with technical teams
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts, including AI/ML solutions, into business-friendly language
- Experience supporting enterprise transformation, operating model design, and process improvement initiatives
- Experience working within Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or product-led delivery environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience using business process modelling tools such as BPMN, Visio, or Lucidchart
Desirable
- Experience across enterprise banking, payments, lending, wealth, insurance, or financial operations environments
- Exposure to AI use cases such as automation, predictive analytics, fraud/risk detection, customer insights, or operational optimisation
- Experience supporting enterprise-wide transformation or innovation programs
