Business Analyst | 12 Month Contract | Capital Markets

A leading consultancy is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a large-scale program within the capital markets space. This is a hands-on BA role suited to someone who is confident operating across both business and technical domains, with strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.

Key Responsibilities
* Elicit, analyse, and document business and system requirements
* Write high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria using Agile techniques
* Facilitate workshops with senior stakeholders and industry participants
* Manage stakeholder relationships across business and technical teams
* Define both functional and non-functional requirements
* Work across API integrations, messaging specifications, and data requirements
* Support the definition of testing requirements, including industry-facing test tools and data needs
* Contribute to process mapping where required

Key Requirements
* Strong Business Analyst experience across complex programs
* Proven experience in capital markets, this is essential
* Experience working with APIs, integrations, and data-focused initiatives
* Strong understanding of both functional and non-functional requirements
* Experience gathering and defining testing requirements
* Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills
* Familiarity with Agile techniques, even if not working in a fully Agile environment

* BABOK certification
