Booking Senior Associate

Our client is looking for a Trade Booking Senior Associate to join their team. The Trade Booking Senior Associate will be responsible for accurately capturing, validating, and maintaining trade bookings across multiple asset classes and systems. This role ensures all transactions are booked in a timely and accurate manner, supporting front office, middle office, and downstream functions. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of financial products, trade lifecycle, and operational risk controls.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately book and validate trades in front-to-back systems across multiple asset classes (e.g., FX, Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives).

• Reconcile trade discrepancies between internal systems and external counter-parties.

• Ensure adherence to internal booking controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.

• Partner with Front Office, Middle Office, and Risk teams to resolve trade breaks and booking exceptions.

• Perform end-of-day trade completeness checks and support daily trade validation processes.

• Contribute to continuous process improvement and automation initiatives.

• Support new product on-boarding and system enhancements impacting trade booking.

• Escalate operational risks or control issues in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• 6-8 years of experience in trade booking within Trading company, investment banking.

• Strong understanding of trade lifecycle, P&L impact, and booking controls.

• Experience with trade booking systems (e.g., IRESS).

• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with data analysis tools.

• Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Experience working in a global, fast-paced environment.
