Our Client

Our Federal Government client is Australia’s principle revenue collection agency, primarily responsible for administering the federal taxation system and superannuation legislation, as well as managing and delivering a range of Australian government payment and loan schemes.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-impact, multidisciplinary team focused on strengthening fraud detection, insider threat prevention, and data-driven decision-making. You will play a key role in building and supporting a behavioural analytics platform, leveraging AWS cloud technologies to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions in a complex environment.

Your duties will include:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance AWS cloud-native applications
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to solution design
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and infrastructure issues
  • Deploy and support applications, ensuring performance and security standards are met
  • Contribute to agile delivery processes and provide technical guidance to team members

Skills and Experience we are looking for:

  • Proven experience developing and supporting solutions in AWS environments
  • Strong knowledge of core AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, and VPC
  • Experience working with Linux-based systems
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code and deployment tools such as CDK, Terraform, or Ansible
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and resolve complex technical issues
  • Experience working in agile environments across both cloud and application development
