The Role

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Automation Tester to join a major ICT delivery program supporting nationally significant digital services. You’ll play a key role in ensuring high-quality production releases through automated testing, working across both Agile and Waterfall environments while collaborating with project teams to deliver robust, reliable solutions.

Your duties will include:

  • Develop and execute functional automated test scripts using Playwright
  • Perform Salesforce API automation testing across system changes
  • Create test scenarios, test data and document test outcomes
  • Capture, manage and assist in resolving defects through JIRA/XRay
  • Work closely with project stakeholders to ensure appropriate test coverage and successful production releases

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in functional automation testing
  • Strong Playwright automation skills
  • Experience in API Automation, including for Salesforce
  • Excellent understanding of the software testing lifecycle
  • Experience managing defects within JIRA/XRay
  • Ability to quickly analyse requirements and develop effective test scenarios
  • Experience establishing or improving automation frameworks (highly regarded)
