With multiple locations across Canberra, and nationwide, the organisation seeks only the most skilled and professional individuals to assist them in developing programs, policies and initiatives that will improve the quality of life for vulnerable Australians.

The Role

Our client is seeking the engagement of multiple Automation Test Analysts to conduct mobile automation testing, and potentially web based testing, as part of a major agency program that aims to detect and prevent fraud by strengthening systems and processes and support delivery of high-quality services to the agency’s customers.

The successful candidates will:

  • Conduct mobile application and web based functional testing (manual and automated)
  • Design, write and executive automated test cases and create test data
  • Discover, reproduce, prioritize, retest and document software defects
  • Participate in team software requirements, analysis, design phases to provide feedback
  • Provide detailed technical documentation for test procedures and contribute to planning

Skills and Experience

  • Highly competent in test case creation, with experience of tools such as JIRA and Xray
  • Proven experience in API testing; executing RESTful API tests
  • Hands-on experience with mobile testing across iOS and Android platforms
  • Hands-on experience using Mobile Automation tools such as Browser Stack and Appium
  • DevOps experience, including Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Artifactory, and Vault
  • Experience working in a cloud environment, preferably AWS

It is desirable, though not essential, that the successful candidates gave experience with web base functional testing (manual and automated), as well as exposure to Functional Automation tools such as Playwright and frameworks such as Cucumber.

It is a requirement of this position that the successful candidate must be an Australian Citizen and hold a current Baseline security clearance.
