The Role

Join a dynamic team delivering innovative ICT solutions to improve critical services for Australians. As an Automated Test Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in embedding test automation technologies and practices across cutting-edge digital platforms, including cloud-hosted solutions, mobile applications, and CRM portals. Your work will directly contribute to driving quality and efficiency in a high-impact environment.

Your duties will include:

  • Implementing and maintaining automation frameworks for backend and UI components.
  • Setting standards for test code and automation coding principles.
  • Delivering automated tests in alignment with Scrum workflows and acceptance criteria.
  • Writing and executing test scripts for both automated and manual scenarios.
  • Enhancing automation testing practices and processes.
  • Supporting the Test Manager in expanding the automation testing team and coverage.

Skills and Experience we are looking for:

  • Proven experience in building and executing automated test regimes within a DevOps environment.
  • Hands-on expertise with tools like Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, and BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
  • Proficiency in testing REST APIs using Postman and writing automation scripts for API tests.
  • Experience with Salesforce and MuleSoft testing.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a test automation role.
