We are seeking an experienced Auto Electrician / Technician to join a growing team supporting a range of vehicle and fleet operations. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting automotive electrical and electronic systems across light and heavy vehicles.

You will work with modern vehicle technology systems, including telematics and safety solutions, helping ensure reliability, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, diagnose, and repair automotive electrical systems in vehicles and equipment
  • Work with telematics, GPS tracking, and vehicle monitoring systems
  • Install and maintain dash cameras, CCTV, and safety systems
  • Support driver safety and fatigue monitoring technologies
  • Conduct fault-finding and electrical diagnostics
  • Carry out preventative maintenance and system upgrades
  • Ensure all work is completed to safety and quality standards
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders

Key Skills & Experience

  • Trade qualification as an Auto Electrician / Automotive Electrician
  • Strong experience with vehicle electrical systems and diagnostics
  • Exposure to telematics, GPS tracking, or fleet systems
  • Experience with vehicle safety systems or monitoring technologies (e.g. DMS / IVMS alternatives)
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Strong focus on safety and quality

Desirable Experience

  • Experience with installation of vehicle technology or aftermarket systems
  • Exposure to commercial vehicles, fleet environments, or transport operations
  • Experience with CCTV or in-vehicle camera systems
  • Knowledge of modern automotive electronics
