Associate Systems Analyst
Our client is a federal government organisation. They have a great opportunity for an Associate Systems Engineer to support the analysis and design of systems and technical products within the organisation.
- Associate / Mid -level role, daily rates negotiable
- 12 month contract + up to 2 years of extensions
- Melbourne CBD location + hybrid work from home
Key duties and responsibilities
- perform analysis and evaluation of business processes and requirements
- support the creation and implementation of solutions to meet business needs
- support the creation and maintenance of solution documents
- provide support to daily operations and monitor performance of business solutions
- adhere to delivery and support methodologies and contribute ideas for improvement
- perform technical application assessments considering risks and benefits
- conduct testing activities such as test coverage reviews, formal or informal test execution and test planning
- collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues, solve problems and ensure effective and timely implementation of projects
- undertake project quality management tasks such as peer and quality reviews of specifications and design documents
- prepare correspondence such as reports and technical documentation for review by senior staff
- escalate issues as required and suggest alternative approaches and solutions
- assist with cost analysis activities as required
- support the life cycle of changes and improvements to systems
- provide training, guidance and support for new staff where required
About you:
To succeed in this role you will need:
- Relevant similar experience as a Systems Analyst/technical Business Analyst
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, and ability to translate technical information for non-technical audiences
- Solid core skills across requirements analysis, data and process modelling, system design, etc.
- Ability to work within an agile framework
