About the Role:

In this rewarding role, you will contribute to the design and implementation of training programs that foster cultural safety and support the learning needs of First Nations peoples. You’ll engage in co-designing materials with stakeholders, ensuring that training content is relevant, responsive, and aligned with strategic priorities, ultimately enhancing agency-wide capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design comprehensive training packages, focusing on content structure, delivery methods, and evaluation tools.
• Utilize adult learning principles to develop engaging learning experiences.
• Collaborate with First Nations stakeholders for culturally relevant training materials.
• Create diverse learning resources, including eLearning modules and facilitator guides.
• Assist in pilot testing training initiatives, incorporating feedback for continuous improvement.
• Monitor training effectiveness and report outcomes to leadership.
• Support the integration of cultural safety practices into workforce capability planning.
• Represent the organization in forums emphasizing cultural safety and development.

Skills & Experience:

• Proven expertise in instructional design and adult learning methodologies.
• Strong understanding of cultural safety and the unique challenges faced by First Nations peoples.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement capabilities, with experience in co-design processes.
• Project coordination skills to manage timelines and reporting effectively.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for inclusive training.
• Experience in developing a variety of learning resources.

Qualifications:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education, HR, or Related Fields.

Eligibility/Requirements:

• Australian citizens only.
• Relevant background checks and Baseline security clearance required.
