APS6 Salesforce Business Analyst/Support Officer (Multiple Positions)
Our client is a large values-focussed Federal Government Agency seeking 3 experienced APS6 Salesforce Business Analyst / Support Officers to support PACE Platform Operations within a high-profile reform and transition program.
These roles will suit candidates who can work across complex project environments and have capability in identifying and analysing IT/system issues, coordinating investigations, and producing clear technical documentation.
- Australian Citizenship required (MANDATORY – Federal Government).
- Initial contract until 31 December 2026 with extension potential.
- APS6 hourly rate: $60.26 + Super.
- Hybrid working arrangements: WFH available (2/3 split).
- Location: Geelong, VIC.
About the role:
The APS6 will work under limited direction to deliver complex project and operational support across Scheme Reforms and Transition. You will contribute to platform operations through documentation, analysis, reporting, and coordination activities that support frontline guidance and system improvements.
Key responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Identifying and analysing IT system issues, assessing impacts and tracking through to resolution.
- Investigating root causes and working with stakeholders to understand underlying problems and contributing factors.
- Producing clear technical documentation including issue summaries, investigation findings and recommended fixes.
- Developing and managing business documentation including Service Blueprints and system guidance materials.
- Preparing written materials such as briefs, plans, reports and executive documentation.
- Coordinating regular project reporting including status updates and exception reporting.
- Contributing to quality management to ensure deliverables are fit-for-purpose and meet frontline needs.
Essential criteria:
- Strong ability to identify and analyse IT system issues, including assessing their impact and tracking them through to resolution.
- Experience investigating root causes, working with a range of stakeholders to understand underlying problems and contributing factors.
- Ability to produce clear and accurate technical documentation, such as issue summaries, investigation findings, and recommended fixes.
Desirable criteria:
- Experience working within the Disability sector or with Salesforce, especially in IT/technical roles
- Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including technical teams and frontline staff.
- Experience supporting release activities, such as reviewing or preparing materials related to system changes.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, including the ability to turn complex information into practical insights for different audiences.
