Job Title: APS6 Project Officer | Location: Deakin ACT | Contract Duration: ASAP until December 2026
Our client is seeking an APS6 Project Officer to join the team, where you’ll play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of complex projects across various locations. About the Role:
As an APS6 Project Officer, you will manage and execute multifaceted projects, working with various stakeholders to ensure timely completion and alignment with strategic objectives. You’ll be responsible for drafting concise reports, facilitating communication across teams, and leveraging your critical thinking skills to navigate project challenges effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and manage complex projects within tight timelines and budget constraints.
- Develop and present reports, presentations, and briefs to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with team members and assist in strategic planning processes.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members.
- Implement organizational change and continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team while managing competing priorities.
- Experience in delivering projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder interaction.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience in project management or a related field.
