About the client:
Our client is an independent statutory agency that is responsible for implementing the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). About the role:
- Manage complaints received by the NDIA, including assessing information, recording details, resolving and referring as required.
- Manage escalated complaints and ensure strict deadlines are met.
- Communication with participants, authorised representatives and internal teams through quality written correspondence and professional outbound calls to complainants.
- Maintain accurate and timely complaint records within PACE.
- Support the Complaints team to resolve day-to-day operations issues and assist in achieving the branch’s strategic objectives.

What you’ll need to succeed:
- Proven ability to handle a variety of tasks, manage sensitive information, maintain records and ensure compliance with procedures while adjusting to changing priorities or emerging challenges.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain stakeholder relationships.
- Experience interpreting and applying legislation
- Highly motivated, resilient and able to provide advice on moderately complex matters to both internal and external stakeholders in an empathetic manner.
- Have a positive contemporary attitude to people with disability along with a high level of understanding and knowledge of disability and its impact on individuals.
- Successful candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment National Criminal History Check, Worker Screening Check and / or Working with Children Check (where required) along with proof of Australian Citizenship.
