Our client is an independent statutory agency that is responsible for implementing the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). About the role:

  • Support the coordination of complaints received by the NDIA including resolving at point of entry, assessing, recording and referring as required.
  • Contact relevant stakeholders to confirm receipt of referred complaints and gather information.
  • Escalate complaints in accordance with established Agency complaint handling processes.
  • Contribute to record keeping activities to ensure team records are accurate and current.
  • Coordinate correspondence, briefing and reporting functions to the branch as needed.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Proven ability to handle a variety of tasks, manage sensitive information, maintain records, and ensure compliance with procedures while adjusting to changing priorities or emerging challenges.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems, databases, and communication tools to track and resolve complaints efficiently.
  • Experience interpreting and applying legislation in the context of complaint resolution.
  • Previous experience in customer-facing roles, particularly in resolving issues, managing expectations, and delivering high-quality service.
  • Highly motivated and resilient, with the ability to provide advice on moderately complex matters to internal and external stakeholders in an empathetic manner.
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment National Criminal History Check, Worker Screening Check and / or Working with Children Check (where required) along with proof of Australian Citizenship.
