Salary range on offer: $98,478 – $104,165 + 12% superannuation
In accordance with Parliamentary policies and procedures, this role is open only to Australian citizens who are eligible for Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance.
Talent International is proud to partner with the Parliamentary Network Support Group in recruiting an Applications Specialist. This role is pivotal in supporting a suite of systems and applications that service Parliament House and Electorate Offices across the state.
About Parliamentary Network Support Group:
Parliamentary Network Support Group (PNSG) is essentially the IT backbone of the Parliament of South Australia, responsible for keeping the parliamentary network secure, reliable, and sustainable – from infrastructure planning to day-to-day operations and cyber resilience.
About the role:
The Applications Specialist position resides within the Parliamentary Network Support Group (PNSG) and works under limited direction to undertake a range of complex and/or time sensitive technical activities for the Parliament of South Australia including the planning, design, development, testing, implementation, and support of numerous systems and applications servicing Parliament House and Electorate Offices across the State, which may require a significant level of responsibility at times.
Reporting to the Team Leader, Business Systems, the Applications Specialist will take a collaborative and team-first approach to develop and maintain effective consultative and collaborative relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders and service providers.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience working within the information technology industry.
- Extensive technical experience in one or more phases of the systems development life-cycle (SDLC).
- Demonstrated C# and .NET / .NET Core web development experience including HTML, CSS and one or more of the following: JavaScript, Angular, React, or NextJS.
- Demonstrated Power Platform experience including development and maintenance of Power Apps and Power Automate.
Desirable Skills:
- Demonstrated experience working with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 cloud service products.
- Demonstrated SharePoint Online administration experience including configuration and support of site permissions, content types, managed metadata, lists, libraries, web pages and web parts.
