The Role

We’re looking for an Application Support Specialist to join a growing financial services organisation supporting critical trading, market data, clearing and settlement platforms.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll work directly with advisers, dealers, operations teams and technology stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, manage incidents and ensure a seamless experience across front and post-trade systems. You’ll become a trusted point of contact while gaining exposure to a broad range of financial markets technology.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support across trading, market data and post-trade platforms
  • Investigate and resolve user issues relating to order execution, market data and settlement processes
  • Manage incidents and escalations through to resolution
  • Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to resolve platform issues
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, documentation and knowledge sharing

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years’ experience in Application Support, Trading Support or Financial Markets Operations
  • Experience with Iress, OMS platforms or similar trading systems
  • Understanding of the equities trade lifecycle, including clearing and settlement
  • Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills
  • Experience supporting business-critical applications and engaging with stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
  • Exposure to market data platforms, SQL, FIX or API concepts is advantageous
