Our Client

Our Federal Government client is Australia’s principle revenue collection agency, primarily responsible for administering the federal taxation system and superannuation legislation, as well as managing and delivering a range of Australian government payment and loan schemes.

The Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Applications Architect who will be involved in designing robust and scalable architectural solutions that enable developers to build high-quality applications efficiently. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping the technical landscape in alignment with our organisational patterns, policies, and objective.

You will:

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs
  • Provide architectural guidance
  • Ensure that the solutions align with best practices and business goals

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in system architecture in event driven and microservice environments
  • Knowledge of AWS cloud skills and services
  • Familiarity with database technology such as SQL and NoSQL and data modelling
  • Knowledge of integration technologies such as API integration design patterns and message queues
  • Ability to review and provide feedback on relevant application architectural documents
