We are seeking an experienced Advisor (Program Performance) to join a large-scale program delivery team supporting the governance, reporting, and performance of major infrastructure initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, providing critical governance and project support while working alongside senior stakeholders.

About the Role

As the Advisor (Program Performance), you’ll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered with strong governance, accurate reporting, and effective program controls. Working closely with project managers, senior leaders, and subject matter experts, you’ll coordinate governance activities, maintain project documentation, monitor program performance, and produce high-quality reporting that supports informed decision-making. This is a varied role suited to someone who thrives in a structured project environment and enjoys improving the consistency and quality of program delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate governance activities including agendas, board papers, briefing packs, minutes, and action tracking
  • Maintain program documentation, change control records, and governance registers
  • Monitor and update risk, issue, dependency, and action registers to support executive reporting
  • Produce accurate program reports, dashboards, and governance documentation
  • Support capacity planning and ensure program records meet audit and compliance requirements
  • Validate program data to ensure consistency, completeness, and reporting accuracy
  • Assist with executive correspondence including briefing notes and ministerial documentation
  • Collaborate with project managers, senior stakeholders, and subject matter experts to support successful program delivery

About You

You’ll bring experience supporting project or program governance within a complex delivery environment, along with:

  • Experience in project controls, governance, reporting, or program support
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience using SharePoint and project or program management systems
  • Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • A collaborative approach with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels
