Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Angular Developer to join a collaborative, agile delivery environment focused on building and enhancing digital services used by Australians every day. As a senior member of the development team, you will contribute to the design, development, testing and maintenance of modern web applications, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable and aligned with best-practice development standards. Working closely with architects, analysts, testers, product owners and delivery teams, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality digital outcomes that improve user experiences and business capabilities.

Key Duties

  • Design and develop complex front-end solutions using Angular and TypeScript
  • Create software and technical designs that support scalable and maintainable applications
  • Develop, test, document and maintain high-quality code
  • Conduct analysis of technical requirements and contribute to solution evaluations
  • Provide technical advice and support across software development and maintenance activities
  • Participate in prototyping, unit testing, integration and deployment activities
  • Support go-live activities and ongoing application support
  • Identify, investigate and resolve complex technical issues
  • Ensure compliance with development methodologies, security standards and best practices
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary agile teams to deliver project outcomes
  • Assess and manage technical risks while meeting project timelines and objectives
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, tools and practices

Skills and Experience Required

  • Demonstrated experience developing front-end applications using Angular and TypeScript
  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments and multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools, including OpenShift
  • Strong software development, coding, testing and debugging skills
  • Experience with software design, systems design and systems integration activities
  • Ability to develop, review and maintain software configurations and deployment processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience applying development standards, methodologies and best practices
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Minimum 2+ years of Angular-focused front-end development experience
  • Current Baseline Security Clearance
