Technology Manager – AI Platforms & Operations

Location: Sydney (Hybrid)
Salary: Up to $220,000 incl.

Lead the future of AI at enterprise scale

We’re seeking an experienced Technology Manager to lead the delivery, operations, and governance of a rapidly growing AI ecosystem across a complex enterprise environment.

This is a strategic leadership role responsible for AI platforms, GenAI operations, technology delivery, and service performance. You’ll lead a team of AI specialists and partners while shaping how AI is adopted, governed, and scaled across the organisation.

What you’ll be accountable for

  • Own the AI platform strategy, operations, and roadmap across Microsoft and AWS environments
  • Lead AI technology delivery teams to build secure, scalable, and reliable AI solutions
  • Drive GenAIOps and LLMOps capabilities, including observability, evaluation, monitoring, and lifecycle management
  • Establish operational excellence through SLAs, SLOs, incident management, and service performance reporting
  • Provide trusted advice to senior leaders on AI investment, architecture, risk, and adoption opportunities
  • Partner with Product and Architecture leaders to prioritise and deliver enterprise AI initiatives
  • Embed Responsible AI, security, privacy, and governance standards across all AI services
  • Develop organisational AI capability through leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder engagement

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience leading AI, ML, data, or emerging technology teams in a large, complex environment
  • Strong knowledge of Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Copilot, Power Platform, AWS Bedrock, API Management, and related cloud services
  • Experience operating enterprise platforms with accountability for uptime, performance, risk, and service delivery
  • Demonstrated success translating strategy into technology roadmaps and measurable business outcomes
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence executive decision-making
  • Experience assessing AI opportunities from proof-of-concept through to enterprise-scale deployment
