AI Engineer - AgentForce
Help shape the future of AI for Talents client. This contract role sits within the Agentic Platforms team, where you’ll be working hands-on with Agentforce-Salesforce’s new low-code AI platform-helping build and deploy intelligent agents at scale.
This is a rare chance to work on a cutting-edge internal initiative backed by a major enterprise. You’ll be part of a high-trust squad defining frameworks, solving real business problems, and bringing autonomous AI into everyday operations.

π₯ Remote-first; Aucklanders ideally onsite 1-2 days/week
π― What You’ll Be Doing
- Build and refine reusable AI agent compnts on Agentforce (Salesforce).
- Design data and knowledge integrations across platforms.
- Develop testing, monitoring, and governance frameworks for AI deployments.
- Contribute to FinOps practices through cost tracking and optimisation.
- Lead enablement sessions and produce clear documentation to upskill others.
π What You’ll Need
β Salesforce development or architecture experience (Agentforce experience = huge bonus)
β Strong grasp of how AI agents work-prompting, orchestration, tools
β Solid programming skills (ideally Python) and experience with AI/ML engineering
β Ability to think critically about cost, performance, and secure deployment
β Able to work independently but collaborate with a wider team
β Not afraid to use tools like ChatGPT to prototype and learn fast
You don’t need 5 years of Agentforce experience-nobody does. But you must understand how AI agents function and be ready to dive deep.
