An iconic Australian organisation is embarking on a major AI Initiative and is seeking an experienced AI Business Analyst to join the team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is a unique opportunity to work on a greenfield project in an enterprise organisation focused on identifying, validating, and delivering AI-driven solutions that will shape the future of the organisation. Working closely with senior stakeholders, technology teams, and delivery partners, you will play a critical role in taking AI concepts from idea through to proof of concept and production delivery.
About the Role
As the AI Business Analyst, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and emerging AI capabilities. You will work across discovery, requirements gathering, proof of concept development, and implementation to ensure AI solutions deliver measurable business outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with business stakeholders to identify and prioritise AI opportunities
- Leading discovery workshops, process mapping, and requirements gathering activities
- Defining business cases and supporting AI proof of concept initiatives
- Translating business requirements into actionable deliverables for technical teams
- Supporting the design and implementation of AI-powered solutions, including chatbot and conversational AI capabilities
- Collaborating with data, architecture, product, and delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Measuring and evaluating proof of concept outcomes and recommendations for broader rollout
- Driving stakeholder engagement and change adoption activities
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience delivering AI-focused initiatives within complex enterprise environments.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst delivering AI, Generative AI, chatbot, conversational AI, or intelligent automation initiatives
- Experience working on greenfield projects from concept through to delivery
- Strong background supporting and delivering proof of concept (POC) initiatives
- Demonstrated experience gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into AI-enabled solutions
- Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills
- Ability to engage effectively with both business and technical teams
Highly Desirable:
- Experience with AI copilots, virtual assistants, chatbot platforms, or GenAI technologies
- Exposure to customer experience, digital transformation, or enterprise technology programs
- Experience working within large and complex organisations
