Accounting and Treasury Policy Compliance Manager
Talent International is currently recruiting an Accounting and Treasury Policy Compliance Manager to work for the NSW Government, based in Parramatta. This position is a 6-month contract with the view to be extended and pays $800/day + Super.
Hours of Work – 8 hrs per day/40 hrs per week
Manager with 5+ yrs. experience. CA / CPA qualified or equivalent (required).
Key focus areas:
- Leading the client’s CFO Certification process
- Leading other mandatory client compliance activities
- Collaborating on the review of capitalisation policy, procedures and practices
- Manage and lead the Financial Controlling Policies and Procedures Oversight team through transitional arrangements
Managing people. Leading planned CFO Certification activities, including analysing and summarising internal control questionnaire responses, leading interactions with senior business stakeholders, report writing and review, and driving continuous improvement of processes for roll-out in 2025-26. Provision of support for review of asset capitalisation policy, procedures and provide expert technical accounting input. Supporting other ad-hoc Financial Controlling activities if required.
Essential Requirement:
- A degree in accounting or finance discipline and membership of a recognised Australian professional accounting association.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
