Talent RISE is proud to partner with UnLtd to tackle youth unemployment.

This innovative program will empower young people – who might otherwise struggle to get a job – to find meaningful employment in the media, marketing and creative industry.


A unique partnership

UnLtd is a social purpose organisation connecting the media, marketing and creative industry with charities supporting at-risk children and young people. It calls on its connections in the industry to leverage their financial and cultural influence to create social change.

“We are so excited to partner with Talent RISE to help young people from diverse backgrounds into employment in our industry,” says Chris Freel, CEO of UnLtd. “Not only is it hugely rewarding to be able to change the lives of these young people, but also to add much-needed diversity to our industry.”


A second chance

The youth in this program come from varied backgrounds and many have been supported by UnLtd’s charity partners. With support from the charity and coaching from Talent RISE, the candidates become work-ready and empowered to make positive changes in their lives.

“It’s not easy to get a job if you don’t have an ID, a safe place to live, or if you have a criminal record,” says Roger Antochi, General Manager of Talent RISE. “But employers should not dismiss the qualities and skills these young people can bring to an organisation.

“Experiencing homelessness makes you resilient and a great problem-solver. Spending time in juvenile justice teaches you how to get on with different personalities. The creativity and unique viewpoints these young people can offer are a valuable asset to any organisation.

“This program will give young people ready to turn their lives around a second chance. They’ll receive continuous support and so will their employer.”


A good start

The program has already placed two candidates into employment in the industry.

UnLtd and Talent RISE are asking all hiring managers in the media, marketing and creative industry with entry-level opportunities to visit

“Our service is free and the quality of candidates is above industry standard,” says Antochi. “This isn’t about fulfilling your CSR requirements; it’s about getting the right person for the job – and we have those people.”
