I was somewhat flattered to be invited by Microsoft Australia recently, to join a Brains Trust panel. The objective was to assess a range of projects by teams headed-up by various internal executive sponsors with a purpose of creating a more innovative experiential approach to customer service within Microsoft.

I was joined on the panel by Ellen Yang, Director of Creative Intelligence at the University of Sydney and Innovation Specialist and former COO of Virgin Mobile, Matt Anderson and fresh from her appearance on her first series of Shark Tank, Naomi Simson of Red Balloon.

We spent a very enjoyable and thought-provoking afternoon listening to five different presentations from the various project groups. There were plenty of great ideas in the mix and I trust the panel’s feedback was beneficial and of value.

Thanks to Microsoft’s Managing Director – Pip Marlow, Business Manager – Anushka Wijendra, and Facilitator – Shaun Kenny from People of Influence.

Thanks for the opportunity guys – it was lots of fun!

Cheers,

Richard.
