Talent International has been selected as one of a small group of recruitment partners added to the G-Cloud 6 Framework for Testing and Quality Assurance Services. The move will see Talent strengthen its position as the leading IT recruitment partner to the UK public sector.
G-Cloud 6 has been launched as an initiative to redefine the way the UK public sector – central and local government – procures and operates ICT, ensuring transparent access to the latest technology, innovations and services. The G-Cloud’s marketplace of cloud services and their suppliers, called the Digital Marketplace, represents solutions assured for security, performance and service management. Sales through G-Cloud have now reached £467m, with £37m in January 2015 alone.
Talent UK CEO Jonathan Butterfield believes that the G-Cloud supplier status will be a catalyst for further growth for Talent: “I’d like to congratulate our Public Sector delivery team for securing this award with G-Cloud. It’s a testament to their hard-work, diligence and quality and it is well deserved.
“This award is one of a string of key contract wins in both the public and commercial markets for Talent, wins which continue to drive significant growth for the company throughout UK and into EU markets and we’re confident of continuing this success throughout 2015,” noted Butterfield.
Talent UK Executive Director, Andrew Scholes and his team played a key role in securing the G-Cloud supplier status award, stating, “The team did a great job in showcasing our experience and recent success. Building and investing in consultants with a working knowledge of team and project development within the public sector is what really sets us apart. ”
For the past year Talent has reported 40% overall growth across the UK and operates out of four offices in London, Birmingham, Bristol and Manchester. Talent UK forms part of the Talent Group which has 15 offices throughout the UK, Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
