Rapidly expanding IT&T Recruitment Company, Talent International, has acquired a 50 percent stake in The 100 Company, a UK-based IT recruitment firm; in a bid to boost its UK and European businesses to match existing Asia Pacific operations.


The move will see Founder & Managing Director of Talent International, Richard Earl; become Chairman of the Board for the combined entity which will be rebranded Talent International across all offices.

Mr Earl said that the acquisition is Talent International’s second step in an aggressive five year plan which includes expansion into Europe and further into the UK; the first being its recent acquisition of Perth based IT Consulting Business, Agile Logic.
“Given the signs of positive economic growth in Europe and specifically the UK, we feel it is a perfect time to seize this opportunity to bolster our position in the region and build a comparable business to what we have in APAC.”
Earl said that synergies between the two companies including key staff members with strong entrepreneurial qualities, ambitious business plans and strong workplace cultures made taking a stake in The 100 Company a clear choice.
“Both companies share the same ambition to build a global brand. We both also believe there is a need to put the candidate & client at the centre of the recruitment process; something our peers in the industry are overlooking” he said.
Mr Earl added that The 100 Company’s rate of growth was evidence the company was as ambitious as Talent International.
“This is a young company which already has three offices across the UK with 35 staff; and more on the way. This clearly shows its ability to think big and deliver on its vision” he said.

The 100 Company currently have locations in London, Birmingham and Manchester and are scheduled to open an office in Bristol in the next few months.


Talent International already has a foot-hold in the UK market with an office established in London’s financial district two years ago. The existing Talent International staff in the UK will join the combined entity.
Based in Sydney, Australia, Talent International currently has a total of 11 offices globally across Hong Kong, Singapore, New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom with a turnover reaching AUD$330 million.
