Leading global IT&T recruitment specialist, Talent International, has added Mike Bracken, the Executive Director of Digital in the Cabinet Office, to its UK judging panel of technology icons for the Talent Unleashed UK Awards 2014.

Mike was appointed Executive Director of Digital for the UK Government in July 2011 and has since been leading the transformation of public sector services to a “digital by default” model. Mike has been building and championing a digital culture that puts the user first and delivers the best, low-cost public services possible.

Prior to joining Government, Mike worked at Guardian News  Media as Digital Development Director for nearly four years; co-founded e-democracy site My Society, and was a Director/Shareholder at technical services company Wavex.

Mike is passionate about recognising and supporting the UK’s most inspirational technologists and entrepreneurs. He will join Sir Richard Branson and Talent International’s founder, Richard Earl, to review the ‘Ones to watch’ list and choose the most outstanding individual to send to the Branson Centre for Entrepreneurship in South Africa this November.
