Teradata Engineer

Our client is an iconic Australian organisation currently seeking a Teradata Engineer to support their Teradata platform across the business.

Your new role will see you manage and operate the enterprises advanced data analytics technology
platforms including: GCP, Dataiku, Tableau, Looker and Teradata. The core of this role is to provide support and administration for the businesses Teradata platform. You will be engaged to deliver both BAU and project work within the data space where required by the business. As the SME, you will also be required to dive a little deeper into issues when they arise to address and rectify the problem long term.

Skills and Experience:

• Strong Teradata Administration and Data Warehousing experience
• Experience using SQL languages to develop / write complex SQL Queries
• Prior experience on Teradata Vantage on Cloud
• Knowledge of backup/recovery best practices
• Working knowledge of data encryption techniques and database querying and management tools

Our client is offering an initial 6 month contract with the view to extension. Offices are based in the Melbourne CBD with a requirement to work on-site 3 days per week.
