Tech Lead (Optimizely)
About the Role:
Are you a seasoned Tech Lead with a passion for driving innovation and excellence in application development? We are seeking a Tech Lead to join our dynamic team and lead the design, development, and implementation of solutions leveraging the Optimizely platform. As a Tech Lead, you will be responsible for championing best practices, mentoring developers, and delivering solutions in line with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Champion and promote development best practices including TDD, automation, continuous integration, continuous deployment, DevOps, and agile methodologies.
- Mentor application developers to ensure code aligns with architectural standards and industry best practices.
- Drive innovation in our Digital Experience Platform to meet evolving customer needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to deliver business-driven initiatives.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on best practices.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and review processes, standards, and tools to enhance outcomes.
- Monitor project progress against business requirements, ensuring quality deliverables and taking remedial actions as needed.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and external partners to manage application development effectively.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of ten (10) years in ICT, with at least eight (8) years of direct experience in application development, including three (3) years in a technical lead role.
- Experience working with DXP Solutions.
- A background in Agile SCRUM projects and working with external ICT service providers.
- Strong knowledge of ICT development and project delivery methodologies.
- Practical experience leading small project teams to successful outcomes.
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
Technical Skills and Experience:
Tech Leads should be proficient in the following areas:
- B2B and SOA frameworks.
- Web service standards and requirements.
- Security standards (e.g. WS Security, Digital Certificates, SSL).
- Deployment architecture.
- Secure Software Development Lifecycle.
