System Engineer

The Role:
This Government Agency is seeking a System Engineer to join our talented team of Engineers to provide support in building, maintaining, troubleshooting and expanding our infrastructure.
The Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure whilst effectively maintain a highly
available environment and register/remediate any security risks. - Manage patching and updates through automation and rules.
- Maintenance of virtual and physical servers hosted in multiple data centres and implement security
systems and redundant backups to maintain data safely. - Install, configure, and test operating system, application software and system management tools.
The Skills & Responsibilites Required:
- Minimum 5 years Eexpereinece as a System Engineer specialising in the MS Stack/Windows Environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Server 20012 R2 onwards; Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Exchange 2016+, Powershell, Hybrid Azure Active Directory and Exchange Online.
- Prior experience within the Government Sector or a large organisation is ideal.
