About us:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Solution Architect specialising in both On-Premise and Cloud Computing. As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust and scalable ICT business solutions that leverage a combination of on-premise and cloud-based technologies. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring seamless integration, optimal performance, and efficient operations across hybrid environments. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with stakeholders, including architects, developers, infrastructure teams, project managers, and customers, to understand requirements and translate them into practical and innovative solutions.

Skills:

• Provide technical guidance and leadership to development teams, infrastructure teams, and other stakeholders ensuring the bigger picture is understood and being delivered
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and efficient delivery of solutions
• Conduct research and evaluate emerging technologies and cloud computing trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement
• Serve as a subject matter expert on on-premise and cloud computing technologies, advising internal teams and clients on best practices and potential solutions
• Own and resolve Architectural issues by taking a win-win approach to the resolution of architectural issues
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in on-premise and cloud technologies, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation
• Oversee the implementation of hybrid solutions, ensuring adherence to architectural guidelines and standards
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables
• Input into non-functional requirements related to system performance, monitoring, capacity planning, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance is being considered though the project delivery
• Provide technical support and guidance during system upgrades, migrations, and maintenance activities
• Desirable skills and experience:
• Proven and extensive experience in the role of a Solution Architect in a complex working environment
• Experience of frameworks such as TOGAF, Open CA and so on
• Strong expertise in cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings
• Knowledge of Microservices and event driven architecture
