Senior Project Manager

Our Client is a Leading Banking organisation who is in search for a Senior Project Manager on an initial 6 month contract.

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the records management program. This role will require a deep understanding of records management principles, privacy regulations, and data exposure risks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Develop and execute a comprehensive records management program to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and protect sensitive data.
• Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks associated with data exposure and privacy breaches.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, including data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, APRA).
• Records Management Strategy: Develop and implement a robust records management strategy, including policies, procedures, and retention schedules.
• Data Governance: Oversee data governance initiatives to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization, including legal, compliance, risk, and operations teams.
• Project Management: Lead and manage various project initiatives related to records management, including system implementations, process improvements, and compliance audits.

To be successful in this role, you must meet the below criteria:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management within Financial Services, with a focus on records management and compliance.
• 4-5 Years experience in Records management and Privacy.
• Strong understanding of records management principles, data privacy laws, and risk management frameworks.
• Experience successfully managing complex projects and initiatives.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
• Experience in the financial services industry, particularly cash and transactional banking.
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations and industry best practices.
