As a Senior Identity Services Engineer, you’ll support the Identity Services Manager in maintaining, enhancing, and governing the organisation’s IAM platforms.

You’ll manage authentication systems, access governance, and identity lifecycle processes – ensuring that users, applications, and systems remain secure, compliant, and well-controlled.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Identity Governance platforms.

  • Manage SSO, MFA, and federated authentication services across enterprise and partner ecosystems.

  • Oversee user lifecycle management, ensuring accurate onboarding, transfer, and offboarding access.

  • Conduct User Access Reviews and Privileged Access Reviews, tracking remediation actions.

  • Collaborate with Cyber Security, Technology, and Architecture teams to implement identity controls.

  • Identify automation opportunities to streamline provisioning and deprovisioning.

  • Maintain documentation and requirements in JIRA and Confluence.

  • Provide audit and governance support for identity-related security controls.

Key Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years in Identity & Access Management (IAM) or Identity Governance (IGA) roles within large enterprise or government environments.

  • Strong knowledge of platforms such as Azure AD / Entra ID, Okta, SailPoint, CyberArk, or Delinea Secret Server.

  • Understanding of SSO, MFA, RBAC, OAuth, SAML, SCIM, and related identity protocols.

  • Experience with Active Directory and Azure AD Connect in hybrid environments.

  • Familiarity with identity lifecycle automation, privileged access, and compliance processes.

  • Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence for documentation and task management.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
